Welcome to my blog

Here you find out what has been going on at Molly's from my point of view, a four year old labrador.

Dont let my Mum know I use the computer though!

Last week I met some new friends and I still have Reggie the Pug/Jack Russell cross staying with me, he came last Tuesday and is staying for 10 nights - we are great mates. Reggie makes Mummy laugh as he pulls on my lead as we walk to the park and makes me walk to heel! Mummy can’t make me do that! Reggie is also very funny and when a lady came to see us with a Westie that is staying soon, he took her cheque book out of her bag and put a bone back in its place! He also tries to get Mummy’s flip flops off her feet whilst she is walking in them and generally does lots of funny things.

Murphy was here for an overnight stay at the beginning of last week. He is the same age as me and a chocolate Labrador. He loves playing with toys and can run just as fast as me in the park. He was so excited when he got here, Mummy said he was like a big kid on a sleepover! Murphy is coming back for three weeks in August so we should have lots of fun together then.

We also had another Reggie to stay overnight - it’s quite good as Mummy only has to remember two names, Reggie and Molly. He is a Labradoodle and he is coming back again next week.

It is so hot at Molly’s! I love the sunshine but my friends and I are spending most of our time lying on the cool slate kitchen floor. Mummy gets us up very early to take us to the park and walks us very late so we don’t get too hot.

Catch up next week.

Last week was really busy here at Molly's! On Monday I had to go the vets to have my annual health check and vaccinations. They said I was the picture of health and perfect weight. I got quite a few treats as I didn't like the booster that had to go up my nose, it's rubbish.

Ossie and Finn came to stay. Ossie is a black and white Springer Spaniel with huge ears! We had lots of fun running around the park together. Finn is a Jack Russell. He was really scared when he first arrived. Mummy gave him lots of love and cuddles and pretty soon he was happy playing with us and didn't seem so scared any more. Finn wasn't allowed off the lead as he wants to run off all the time - I don't know why, I would never want to leave my Mummy. He was also really good at getting through doors the moment Mummy opened them, she calls him the Escape Artist! Ossie, Finn and I had a great few days together on their holidays.

Ossie and Finn went home on Wednesday and Thursday but another Spaniel soon arrived called Deppsy. Deppsy is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel so he is much smaller than Ossie. It was great when Deppsy arrived as he likes to snooze a lot too. I was so tired after playing with Finn and Ossie. Deppsy and I slept a lot for the two days he was here!

I'm looking forward to next week as my mate Reggie is coming to stay for 10 days - I will update you next week!

I’ve had a really exciting couple of days!

On Wednesday Murray came to stay for the day. He is very handsome and even better he loves playing chase with me. He likes getting all of my toys out of the box and he takes them out on the lawn, one by one. They were everywhere! Mummy said it was very funny how many toys he could play with at the same time - even more than me!

On Thursday Mummy took me to a different vets to get my eyes checked. I think she is going to let me have babies which we are all very excited about. The vet made lots of fuss of me and said my eyes were perfect and I didn’t even have to have an injection. I got a biscuit for being good. I love going in the car with Mummy we always go somewhere exciting.

Today I have had the best time with Reggie, a Pug/Jack Russell cross. Reggie likes to play A LOT and loves bones like I do. In the afternoon we were so tired from playing that we both fell asleep on the cool kitchen floor.

I love that Mummy has set up Molly’s Home Dog Boarding for me, I always have friends to play with which is so much fun!

I've had such an exciting time since I last had time to write!

My Mummy went on holiday and I went to stay with lots of friends. We had so much fun and went to the beach every day. I love going in the sea and getting all wet and sandy.

Today at home I met two new friends, Murray and Amber. Murray is a Border Collie Cross and lots of fun as he is only 2 so is even more up for playing than I am. He loves playing chase with me and Mummy says he is coming to stay next week. Amber is a bit older, she is 7 and a Cocker Spaniel. She kept looking at me as if I was crazy! Amber is coming to stay tomorrow so maybe we can sunbathe on the decking together :)

I had so much fun today running around the park chasing seagulls. I am sure one day I will catch one but I have been trying for a long time. My Mum brushed me AGAIN when I got back home though. She says I am moulting all the time and it drives her mad. It's not my fault! She always makes even more fuss of me afterwards though and I get a biscuit if I stand still so it's not too bad.

I am now snoozing on my nice new bed that Mum got me. It's not really fair as it has pictures of biscuits all over it and at first I thought they were real. Still I can dream.......

As a four year old labrador my spelling is not great so please forgive me and typing with paws is not so easy!

I will try to keep you informed of what we get up to here at Molly's when my mum lets me use the computer or she leaves the room long enough for me to log on.

Here she comes now so I'm off for a bit.

Bye for now,

Molly x
